Together in harmony

A diamond reflects every imaginable color as it is touched by light, and for that, it is more beautiful.

I typically gravitate towards darker colors in my artwork. Shades of brown, black and grey. They give me comfort and peace. I seem to be reflecting the state of the world today, with people crowding in one-shaded hideouts.

But though there is comfort and peace in uniformity, variety breathes richness, opportunity and zest. There is room in this world for all colors, and when these come together in harmony, the result is a spectacular kaleidoscope. Each of us has a right to our peace within our own little world, but in God's kingdom, all colors and creeds are home. Giving thanks to the tolerance and acceptance that are left in this world and wishing and striving for more.
